Barista

Responsibilities:
-Skilled in coffee making, able to steam and texture milk to company’s quality standards – ensuring a velvety and smooth consistency, basic latte art skills (i.e. heart shape / rosette) is a must
-Able to multitask and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
-Quick, Efficient and Clean coffee making style, must be reliable and professional, with excellent communication skills
-A strong focus on Customer Service, for customers who enjoy interacting with our barista’s and enjoying some friendly banter with service staff.
-As barista you will be required to do all weekly beverage and coffee beans ingredient ordering.
-Welcoming customers by determining their interests and needs, and informing them about specials or new items on the menu, presenting and explaining the menu and answering customers’ queries, sharing promotion and new products
-Understanding from origins, grinding & blending coffee beans
-Preparing coffee and other beverages by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques
-Daily calibration of espresso machine and grinder to company’s quality standards
-Maintaining the equipment by following SOP, troubleshooting, breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs, as required
-Able to steam and texture milk to company’s quality standards – ensuring a velvety and smooth consistency, basic latte art (i.e. heart shape / rosette) is a must
-Proper maintenance and care for all coffee equipment – includes thorough daily cleaning, after peak hours, as well as maintaining a clean work area throughout the day
-Recommending food items like brunch, cakes, pastries, to go along with the coffee or tea
-Good understanding of the various types of coffee range
-Support daily operation, and contribute as a team in housekeeping duties
-Any adhoc duties as assigned

Requirement:
*Min N-Level and above
*Min 1 year of experience
*Able to work on weekends & Public Holiday
*Able to commit OT as and when required

Remuneration:
*Basic Salary: $2200 and above (Depend on experiences)
*Working hour: 8am to 11pm (Schedule arranged by employer)
*5.5/6days work week
*Up to 44hrs consider OT
*OT 1.5 times
*Entitles for annual leave and medical leave
