Responsibilities
Blasting:
*Perform a variety of duties to clean parts; remove paint and coatings utilizing various blasting methods and media
*Perform manual blasting operations following prescribed procedures, methods and instructions for blasting parts.
*Exercise care in performing blasting operation to ensure quality and minwall requirements are not exceeded.
*Load aircraft components into blasting chamber, and monitor operations to ensure machine and turntable are operating properly.
*Regularly test blast media, add grit or empty hopper and refill as required. Record any changes made to blast media.
*Perform routine maintenance of blast equipment checking for wear of machine parts such as hoses, nozzles, etc.
*Work with Engineering to create new or modify existing blasting processes, techniques, or repair operations.
*Effectively train new blast operators according to established training processes and procedures
De-burring:
*Perform a variety of duties to burr and break edges on aircraft engine parts according to instructions contained in operation sheets.
*Operate burr guns of different configurations or buffing machines to bring about dimensions required on operations sheets. Prepare first piece and submit along with appropriate documentation to In-Process Inspector. Inspect own work using micrometers, calipers, verniers, GO-NOGO gage blocks and pins and visual aides.

Requirements
*No experience required, training will be provided
*Able to work rotating shift and OT

Remuneration
*Aircon environment
*Basic Salary $1400
*Working Hours: Monday to Friday
1) Day Shift 7.30AM – 4.48PM ; 2) Night Shift 7.30PM – 4.48AM
*Night Shift allowance: $16.50 per night shift (rotate shift every 2 weeks)
*Monthly attendance allowance $30
*Annual Leave 12 days and medical leave 14 days
*Entitle for AWS and Variable Bonus (every Dec, Pro-rated for incomplete year of service)
*OT 1.5/ 2.0
*Gross salary $1800 – $2000 above
