Geylang East Home For The Aged (GEHA) • Founded in 1978 • Charity Registration Number: 0342 • ROS 165/2001 WEL • IPC NO. 000389 • Managed fully by a team of dedicated volunteers • It has been providing many needy elderly with a place of comfort since 1978. • Depend on donations from well-wishers and the public • Besides receiving nominal fee from service users, we organized events and activities for funds to defray expenses Vision To promote a community spirit of helping out one another, and encourage the extension of one’s love for their kith and kin, to the people and environment around them. Mission To improve the quality of life of the elderly through the effective use of available resources; thereby fulfilling the “ageing in place” philosophy of Geylang East Home For The Aged. The following are the programmes / services provided by the GEHA 1. Blk 97, Geylang East Home for the Aged (Sheltered Home): A residential home to the needy old folks To-date, we have a total of 37 home residents, consisting of 22 males and 15 females. 2. Geylang East Home For The Aged（GEHA） • 成立于1978年 • 慈善注册编号：0342 • ROS 165/2001 WEL • IPC NO. 000389 • 由一群 dedicated 义工全权管理 • 自1978年以来，一直为许多贫困年长者提供舒适的居所。 • 依赖善心人士和公众的捐款 • 除了向服务使用者收取象征性费用外，我们也举办活动和项目以筹集资金支付开支 愿景 促进互助的社区精神，鼓励将对自己亲友的爱延伸至周遭的人与环境。 使命 通过有效利用现有资源，改善年长者的生活质量；从而实现Geylang East Home For The Aged的“原地养老”理念。 GEHA提供以下项目/服务： 1. 大牌97号，Geylang East Home for the Aged（庇护所）： 为贫困年长者提供的住宿之家 截至目前，我们共有37名住院者，包括22名男性和15名女性。 2. 大牌96号，Geylang East Senior Care Centre（SCC）： 在一个便利地点提供综合日间护理设施。 （1）维持性日间护理为年长者提供日间护理（社交活动和膳食），以便其照顾者能够工作 （2）康复日间服务为需要康复服务的住院者提供改善肌肉力量、平衡和耐力的服务
